These are magical roles, the kind that come around once in a lifetime, and they required talented children who can bring magic to the screen." And the fans couldn't agree more. This was the beginning of the Harry Potter trio.
Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone began filming in October 2000; thus beginning a long-lasting friendship. Daniel, Emma, and Rupert unite and become the living versions of Harry, Hermione, and Ron. The film was released on November 16, 2001 and earned $976.5 million at the worldwide box office. With a very short break, the trio came back together to start filming Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets on November 19, 2001. Their friendship grew even stronger. About a year later, the film was released on November 15, 2002 earning $876,688,482 US dollars worldwide. The trio's fame grew even bigger. On May 31, 2004, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban was released in theaters reaching more than $870 million worldwide. Although there were rumors that the trio would not return to complete the Harry Potter films, Daniel, Emma, and Rupert reunited to film Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. The film was released on November 18, 2005 and earned $892 million worldwide. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix was released on July 11, 2007. For the past seven years and continuing, Daniel, Emma, and Rupert are known as the famous Harry Potter trio. They show each other support, loyalty, and love. They often mention that they are as close as family. Rupert said in an interview that it wouldn't be the same if Emma wasn't going to be at his side. Emma supported both Rupert and Daniel when she attended the premiere of Rupert's movie, Driving Lessons, and Daniel's play, Equus. Emma mentions that Daniel and Rupert are very protective of her. On and off screen Daniel, Emma, and Rupert are always smiling around each other showing a very close relationship just like the character's they portray.
Their friendship continues to grow as they prepare for the next few years working together on the Harry Potter films.
